It’s funny how things come full circle in your life when you least expect it. Despite being a former college softball player, I didn’t think I’d be coaching a girls’ fastpitch softball team until I had children of my own. As it turns out, that opportunity came sooner than I expected. Recently, I was asked to coach a travel softball team for the organization that I played for growing up.
As a new coach, I was surprised to learn that the tournament registration process was not as simple and seamless as I’d hoped it would be. While trying to register my team for our fall and summer seasons, the process was cumbersome. Not only did I have trouble finding softball tournaments in my area but I was flabbergasted that I was downloading registration forms and sending checks via mail. I quickly realized that this was a problem I wanted to help solve. I spoke with one of my coaches, Ian Matthews, and the two of us spent the next two months researching the industry. A few months later, we had a prototype and our journey to help the local softball community began.Live Preview
